O’Hara Report:General Rapporteur on the Cultural Heritage of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, Eddie O’Hara: “The RMGC project provides an economic basis for sustainable development of the whole area. From the cultural heritage point of view it might be seen as an exemplary project of responsible development.”
The Independent Group of International Experts from Hungary, Germany, Sweden and Romania was founded at the request of the Hungarian and Romanian governments, to review the EIA Study, with focus on the project’s trans-boundary effects. In 2006, the experts concluded: the proposed project can be evaluated by the authorities.
NGI Report: The Norwegian experts conducted a risk analysis to assess the safety of the Corna Dam in the Tailings Management Facility (TMF) at Roşia Montană. The analyses looked at critical scenarios, including unusually strong earthquakes and extreme rainfalls. Report concluded in 2009: the dam is designed as one of the safest in the world.
Water Paper: „Regardless of the conditions, the risk of an accident is extremely small. The scale of toxic discharge of a plausible accident is limited and temporary. The very low risk of accidents and the definite environmental benefits of the clean-up combine to suggest an overall beneficial environmental outcome from the project.”

The University of Alba Iulia Report:The University "1 Decembrie 1918" of Alba Iulia completed in 2007 a study on the economic and social impact of the mining project on the region. The study concludes: „The mining project does not contradict other projects of economic development but, on the contrary, it could act as a catalist for such projects.”
