Health and safety
We are committed to protecting the health and safety of our employees, consultants or contractors, as well as the people living and working in areas where we conduct our activity. Thus, all employees are properly trained to ensure their own safety, as well as the safety of people around them.
Our employees participate in various training activities on health and safety issues, whose frequency depends on the risks associated with each category of work. Thus:
- People working underground, such as geologists, participate in monthly health and safety trainings, as well as re-qualification trainings, if necessary (upon changing their workplace and implicitly changing the risks);
- People who drive vehicles, such as drivers, participate in monthly trainings;
- Security employees participate on a quarterly basis in both standard health and safety trainings, as well as specialized trainings;
- People working in demolitions participate in monthly trainings as well;
- People working in maintenance – quarterly trainings;
- All office employees, such as those within the financial department, participate every six months in labor protection training.
Safety day in Recea: safety awareness training – over 300 persons participated.
